V&T Italian Cuisine Pizzeria is nestled among the many bars
and restaurants around the Columbia University campus at 116th
Street. In this cozy dining room full of happy college students,
you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that the menu selection
goes far beyond just "pizza and beer".
V & T offers delicious traditionally ethnic Italian delights,
such as Chicken Scarpariello, Eggplant Rollantini, and Fresh
Garlic Pizza, though my friends and I decided to go for a good,
old-fashioned cheese pizza (served only by the pie). We devoured
the pie in what must have been record-breaking time. V&T pizza
gives you everything you want in a pie: cheese that's melted to
perfect, pulling perfection, crispy crust, and dough that's just
"doughy" enough.
One of our dining neighbors ordered a salad, which looked
fresh and appetizing, and was large enough to be a meal unto
itself. The beauty of this pizza joint is that it has something
for everyone – regardless of your craving or your budget (from a
few dollars and up).
